At The Craft Room, we believe that every child deserves enrichment, physical activity and nice hot meal in their lives, even during school holidays. That's why we bring the magic of free arts and crafts holiday clubs to children of all ages and backgrounds removing the financial barrier that prevents children from low income families accessing these resources normally.

Our enthusiastic staff and volunteers, armed with boundless creativity and passion, create room for young minds can explore, imagine, and express themselves. From whimsical painting and sculpting to enchanting jewellery making and clay sculpting, our clubs offer a kaleidoscope of activities that cater to every artistic spirit.

But we're more than just paintbrushes and glue. We're a nurturing community that fosters friendships, builds confidence, and ignites a love for craft. Witnessing the spark of joy in a child's eyes as they proudly hold their masterpiece is what fuels our mission.

Our Story
It all began with a shared passion for the transformative power of creativity and a growing concern for children left adrift during school holidays. We couldn't shake the image of empty playgrounds and the financial strain placed on low-income families.
We knew that not every child had access to enriching activities, hot meals and exercise. Driven by this belief, we decided to take action.

Armed with not much other than a love for craft and unwavering enthusiasm, we launched our first free arts and crafts holiday club in a local community centre.
The joy on the children's faces as they explored clay, wielded pens, and built fantastical sculptures fueled our hearts. We saw first hand how creativity fostered confidence, ignited imaginations, and offered a much-needed escape from daily routines.

News of our little club spread, our team of staff and volunteers with similar passions and families eager to provide their children with enriching experiences. Our club has quickly blossomed, expanding to encompass more children, more clubs, more funding.
Today, we're a thriving non-profit organization, leaving a colourful footprint on countless young lives. But our story isn't over. We remain driven by the same simple dream: to ensure that every child, regardless of circumstance, has the opportunity to explore their creativity, discover hidden talents, and experience the joy of creation.
